As I was making my way outside of the Media to catch the sunrise over Chefchaouen on my last night in town, I passed a tiny little leather shop. Mohammed sitting at the sewing machine, working by lamplight, surrounded by bags of all shapes, styles and sizes.

I love the hand-embossed detail of these saddle bags. Each one has its own unique design and the attention to detail is incredible. All throughout the village you'll find shopkeepers selling bags piled high with colorful dye, and here was an example of the output in vivid detail. Needless to say, I missed the sunset that day. But finding these little gems was totally worth it.
